NWFA 2012Aacer Flooring Technical Manger Jason Nieminski was responsible for giving presentations at the National Wood Floor Association (NWFA’s) Basic Installation School on the Maple Flooring Manufactures Association (MFMA) and a general background of what the MFMA looks for to complete a project, to individuals that were owners, installers and suppliers in the flooring industry.  We were also assigned with another instructor to help lead a panelist group of the students in the hands on portion of the school.  In the hands on sessions, the students would practice the installation methods of installing the floors that they had been shown.  This involved breaking out bundles, finding the center of a room, installing from the center of a room, installing from a wall, blind nailing, laying out rows of flooring, installing spline, and so on.  Each day, they would move further into the installation process, going all the way to completely finishing a floor. www.maplefloor.org , www.nwfa.org
