“Does Aacer Flooring sell touch-up stain?” That’s a common question for us. Aacer does not sell or provide touch-up stain. And there’s a good explanation for why we don’t.
The stain we use on our Aacer prefinished flooring is a UV cured acrylic/urethane blend. It only dries when UV light hits it. During Aacer’s 20-step finishing process, our flooring is stained, sealed, finished and cured 7 times. Our stain is designed for professional use and for machine application.
If you need touch-up stain, or like to keep some on hand for emergencies, we recommend these two options: (1) a stain pen in the shade closest in color to your floor stain. Try to get one that stains and seals the wood during the same application. (2) bring a piece of stained flooring into your local paint store. They can create a custom matched stain for you. Note: wood is natural material. Color can vary from board to board and even within the board. Be sure to provide the color matcher with a piece representative to the color you’re matching.
