RickJohn2_webOn an annual basis, Aacer Flooring selects a graduating senior from Peshtigo High School as a recipient of their $1,000 Scholarship.  This year’s scholarship was awarded to John Richard.  For the past year, John has been employed at Aacer Flooring in their Added Value department building sport subfloors.  He has been working full-time during the summer and part-time throughout the school year.   John is an exemplary worker and student.

All scholarship candidates are required to submit an essay along with their application.  John addressed a topic relevant to many manufacturing facilities in Wisconsin – the lack of skilled labor and how that affects the current workforce.  In addition to his essay, John was chosen for his good work ethic and his ambition to further his education.  John is enrolled in the NWTC Welding program in Marinette and will start classes this fall to become a certified welder.

Aacer commends John on his accomplishments and wishes him the best of luck on his future endeavors.
