(July 13, 2016, Peshtigo, WI) Aacer Flooring is excited to announce that they are expanding their manufacturing operation and will soon be producing northern hardwood engineered flooring. Aacer is recognized as a high quality manufacturer of unfinished, prefinished, wirebrushed, and handscraped solid hardwood flooring. The addition of engineered flooring will be a welcome complement to their existing product mix.
Construction on the new facility is scheduled to begin this August with the line being operational in Spring 2017. Once the project is complete, Aacer’s footprint will increase to 331,000 square feet.
The addition of an engineered line will be Aacer’s second major expansion within the past 12 months. Aacer recently added a prefinished line. “With the prefinished line expansion under our belt coupled with the vision of our owners, expanding into engineered flooring was a natural progression for Aacer.” says General Manager, Ray Webb.
Initial plans for the engineered line include offering multiple wear layer thicknesses. Flooring will be available in multiple widths, textures, colors and species.
